GAIA began with a shared dream. We grew up as friends, always imagining that one day we would create something of our own — something meaningful, something lasting.
One of us grew up watching her grandmother fall in love with diamonds — not for their value, but for the way they catch the light.
As a child, she couldn’t pronounce her name, Valya, and called her Gaia instead. That name stayed.
After her grandmother passed too soon, we knew we wanted to hold on to that feeling — to create something that would carry light, memory, and meaning.
GAIA is where our story comes together. A modern jewelry atelier based between Los Angeles, Kraków, and Lviv, creating lab-grown diamonds that reflect a new kind of luxury — conscious, effortless, and deeply personal.
We chose lab-grown diamonds not only for their beauty, but for what they represent: a more mindful way of creating, in harmony with nature and the world around us.
